the new catalog came today and i can not wait for D to be big enough to wear this stuff... too cute! or i wish i was a 7 year old girl so i could wear the awesome girl fashions!

dillon has croup. we were in the ER last night. and he is being treated for influenza too just in case. he has a bit of a fever and was having raspy breathing! tonite he is feeling much better but we will see how the night goes! :) i am camping out in his room with him to make sure all is well. not a big fan of the weird breathing! he is such a laid back boy that he is constantly smiling even though we know he is so not feeling.

wizard of oz!!!!! dillon looked so cute as a lion! his first halloween was a success! he did have a bit of trouble crawling in the bottoms..... but he looked good! :) and i even got drew to dress up as the scarecrow and me the wicked witch.. i was going to do dorothy but decided it was too much work searching for a costume. i dont like buying costumes for drew and myself--i would rather search and put something together! thank goodness he has a sense of humor and will dress up with me!

so much fun actually getting something done! my bags are sitting in my scrap room all packed up still.. i think it is about time i get done there and clean and unpack......or keep it packed till the next girls weekend which isnt till january..... with this extra hour today you would think i would have found some time to do it... but instead here i am!!!

he is crawling everywhere............it is so fun to see him go go go and so exhausting trying to get everything out of the way. it has only been a week... but now i can not remember what it was like with him not on the move!!!! he is so determined and so interested... i love the curiosity in kids... there is nothing better than watching them learn, play and grow.

took some photos on sunday with gramma and grandpa. they got some great ones for their christmas card!!!! so cute.

THIS made me happy today!!! sent in some layouts last night to CK and this got on the blog today! so fun!!!!!!!!

i had a great weekend with the girls @ a cabin by brainerd---got tons of scrapping done! learned part of the beyonce single ladies dance.....ok well learn is a strong word.. but we danced to it and had way too much fun!!!!!!! our weekend was full of fun company, so much paper, gossip, drinking, snacks, great food and so much laughing!!!!!!!!! can not wait for our weekend in jan!

drew had a great weekend @ home with dillon. they got tons of fun playing time in and of course lots of much needed naps!!! i missed them tons but there is nothing better than the excitement from dillon when i got home and grabbed him from his crib!!!!!!!!!

going to go lay and cuddle in fromt of the fireplace!

had a day with my manager @ work----need to relax! :)

last week my mom helped me out since daycare was closed. so we got to see nana and papa (mom and dad) and gigi great gramma johnson! got tons of apples from their trees and am dehydrating as we speak. that is why i am up on my blog. i have to leave for work tomorrow for the night again and want these to be dry!! so i am waiting up! way way past my bedtime!!!

last week we got to help this adorable hattie celebrate her 1st birthday! she is such a doll! thanks to R's for the great party! we had such a fun time!!! and our pumpkin is for sure scaring away strangers on the porch!!!

dillon thinks his cousin cooper is pretty funny! we had a great time @ his 5th birthday party on sunday!! thanks for the fun afternoon johnson's. someone must have slipped dillon some cake b/c he stayed up till 10pm....then we finally coaxed him to bed! so unusual! but he was so darn funny! i could not help but laugh and keep him up with me!

how cute are these three? kobey is now 8 and cooper 5! yikes how time flies!

got to see gramme eklund this week and aunti jj too!!

whats new with dillon...........

starting to crawl. found out tonite much easier in no pants!!! i just want to pick him up everytime he starts getting good! way too soon for me to see him crawling!

constantly smiling. of course with his mouth wide open...... where could he of got that?!?! :)

got his first haircut on sunday morning by nana. he had hair hanging over his ears and had a bit of a mullet so she trimmed it up for us a bit! it looks great now!

he is 20lbs 4oz now! exactlty on the 50th percentile for height and weight now!

still spitting up like crazy. especially on me! the gastro doctor told me to wear the spit up with pride. b/c dillon is so darn cute!! dillon loved him and the med student!

has a new friend @ daycare. a new baby started today!!!

i probably have a ton more i could write... trust me it would not be exciting but i think i need to go to bed.... so unplug the dryer and i am off to bed!

yes snow. wow where did fall go. or why didnt it come?

so crazy to see snow in the deck with green leaves on the tree's.

i am home from a couple of days in mnpls for meetings. and a little bit of much needed time @ my sisters. so fun to see my niece and nephews, my mom, sister and brother in law. thanks for letting me stay! love you all.

so glad to be home to see my little d. i swear he grew while i was gone!!!

this weekend we are hanging around home!

i think half of everyone i know is sick and i am still not feeling the best..... as long as i can keep dillon from getting sick again we are good. :)

i cant sleep.....

(written sunday night)i am never up this late. never never never. ok well not never but on school nights i am never up this late! for some reason my brain is going a mile a minute so i am abck out of bed and watching CSI and going through my pictures from the weekend! which i thought i had lost all of them. we were leaving GF after a day full of homecoming events and @ our last stop of the day our old stomping grounds--THE RED PEPPER and i was taking a picture of Dillon by his newly etched initials in the booth and my camera told me it was not formatted and then it said i had no pictures filed...... my heart started racing and we went to the car and i immediatly called my sister..the photographer and camera guru. she calmed me down and the 2 hour drive home i thought about those darned pictures.....but as mandy said when i connected my my computer they uploaded out of nowhere!! thank goodness!!!! not like anyone really cares but i now have all of the pictures safe and sound on my external hard drive. :) did not get a single good picture of all of the babies together!!! oh well. they sure were cute together. now that they can all move, touch and pull!

friday we had a sick baby! well he still sick but yesterday he toughed it out all day like a trooper and was such a perfect little guy all day @ UND homecoming!! he is obviously a big SIOUX fan already to be such a trooper and then today go back to not feeling well @ all. i hate when he is sick. they say it is viral and there is nothign they can do. so i have to wait it out i guess. which i hate!

so friday we did a lot of cuddling. auntie jj was here thursday night and friday. she got lots of snuggles! we are so lucky to have her so close. so fun to have her here! thanks for coming jj. come back anytime and stay!

then we had another visitor. papa came! my dad was picking up a new trailer for the pontoon and had to drop it off @ the cabin so he came and stayed with us friday night! but of course by the time we woke up saturday we was gone! we should not have let him go to bed so early. we went to bed @ 9. no kidding. we are that exciting we all went to bed! sorry dad. and friday when jj was here we went to bed @ 10:30 i think. and that might be stretching it a bit! :)

and now i am up and it is almost midnight. yikes!

love these pictures that my sister caught of myself and her two oldest kids playing @ the cabin one afternoon. i always cherish the time i get to spend with j and j. they are such a part of my life and i love them so much! they are for sure 2 of the funniest, most loving, kid and beautiful kids i know. i am so lucky! cant wait to see you guys next week!!!

i have so many pictures..... i took over 200 just today. i can not seem to help myself!

we had a great weekend @ home. friday night we had some friends over for a pontoon ride and my version of a gourmet meal (papa murpheys) saturday we went for a boat ride, dillon and i went on a walk, took naps and dillon went to bed super early-right after he got up from a nap so drew and i had a little bonfire. our first of the year! sad :(

today we met gram and grandpa barker and aunite jj for lunch and then came home. they came to visit for awhile and jj brought him some adorable clothes for this winter including the hat in the picture below! he didnt mind it too bad! he usually forgot about it soon after he got it on! thanks jj! we love them!

we also came to the conclusion if dillon got nothing else from me he got my big goofy smile! he is alwasy smiling and so funny! we could not be luckier! he rolls around like crazy, loves bath time, loves to wrestle with daddy, loves grabbing bailey's tail or whatever he can reach, eats 2nd stage food each meal!, such a good sleeper!

but now that he is sleeping i might so scrapbook or make something! drew is watching the cowboys game which sadly i dont care about so....i will find something to do.

how can you not love matilda jane!!! last night we were out for a friends bday and started talking and matilda jane came up......and i am just in love with it. i might be a bit weird if i dressed dillon in them but gosh i wish i could...... someday we will have a little girl and no matter if these are in style she will be wearing them!!!

just to be fair i ordered myself some more pants. and i can not wait to get them!

i wear my linen ones all of the time! maybe too much!

i have been crafting a lot lately and now i tivo regis and kelly and today when i got home i watched part of it---i can not wait to make a necklace like kelly was wearing!

i love love love it! too cute. i am so excited to get out and find the perfect vintage pearls/beads!!!! :) thanks kelly for the inspiration!

so excited greys and the hills staart soon!!! gossip girl started..and sadly i have one more i can not wait to see-so you think you candance!!! it is such a great show!

i might need to expand my horizons a little! i love cardigans! i wear them to work, out, the play each and everyday you might catch me in one! these are my new favorites! i just love adding flowers to them to dress them up a little!

tonite we are having a girls night out to BRITNEY! and i am not ashamed to say i am so excited--not only for a girls night in GF but to see the train wreck that this might be! i know she does not sing but the dancing will be awesome and the outifts and i guess the atmosphere in general! and of course the company!!!

speaking of driving i got a new car yesterday! that is the best part about my job i get new cars! there is nothing like a new car and how clean they are! give me a week it will look like i have had it for months!

added a fun new item to my etsy shop today! the one i posted i made last night b/f i went out and love it!! i think i will wear it again tonite! go check it out here!

went out last night to a party- a friend we had met @ baby class @ the hospital hosted a party for all of the babies! so fun. we had a group of 10 kids who will all be the class of 2027! yikes that seems so far away! the kids were all so cute. and everyone had a great time! thanks olsons!

better get some stuff done b/f i head out! its BRITNEY B*TCH! cant wait to see you girls!

we are back from vegas and so happy to be back! we had a great time but i now need some rest! we didnt win millions--or lose it either! thank godness! but we did get some sun! which we really needed since MN has not had as much as we wished for! the lazy river, wave pool and our chairs were the desitnation for much of our time there! the wedding was great, so fun to see so much family, saw PEEPSHOW! (holly madison is not much of an actress) but fun to go see!

so glad to be home to our baby!!! it is amazing how much you can miss someone in such a short perios of time!!! didnt find him anythign vegas that he needed but some much needed quicksilver apparel @ the beach shop! and he recieved some awesome kicks, shorts and a tee from the california aunts! :) can not wait for him to be big enough to wear them!!!

as the mn family we decided to try to give the CA cousins a show and learned the beggining of the THRILLER DANCE and performed @ the dance! they were pretty impressed and even wanted lesson later! it is now the new tradition that @ all family weddings--we wil perform! i think we need to learn some more moves though and maybe practice a little more! but we did get some compliments!!! :) we had a fun time doing it! you might want to check utube or maybe we will be on the today show soon! ok maybe we were not that good but maybe someday!

i didnt know DJ AM died earlier this week?!?! who knew...

the Duggars are having their 19th child... yikes. we dont know if we are ready for number #2!

Heidi Montag (Speidi) performed the other night on Miss Universe! seriosuly who booked that?

dillon wore about 6 outifts yesterday alone! spitting up has been getting worse by the day! i am guessing he is getting more teeth.

friday had a fun supper @ the hochgrabers! thanks for the great food and company!

saturday went swimming with miss audrey and amy and then off to potato days with all 6 of us!

nana and papa are coming this weekend to watch dillon while we head to VEGAS for a long weekend! he is excited to have some nana and papa time!

dillon and i are home today! miss b @ daycare called last night and took a personal day! a perfect excuse to stay home and hang with Dillon! but what to do what to do. too cold to go in the lake... maybe it will get sunny and we can play in the sand! or to the pool @ the club!

but now its nap time!!! :) for him and clean time for me.

it hit me today as i was driving home from picking up D @ daycare and as i looked in the rearview mirror and he smiled----it was a spitting image of his daddy from that age! and yes i know i know everyone has said he looks like him since the day he was born but today more than ever!!! i keep fighting that he looks like me and i think i have come to terms that mostly ok no he doesnt... (but there are certian expressions that do) but i seriously pulled over to look again!

where have we been? i dont know.

we had dillons baptism almost 2 weeks ago now. it was perfect! the whole family was here except rich-- thanks everyone for coming and all of the great presents! dillon and i just got done reading on the veggie tale books--they are so cute! :)

we just got back from a walk! much needed fresh air for all of us!

i think dillon might be getting even more teeth! his 2 bottom ones are so cute--i can not imagine anymore!

our little Dillon is already 6 months old! i can not believe how the time has flown by and how much we can love him more and more each and everyday!

today he got his first tooth, he sits up, loves to snuggle, says bah bah bah bah all day long, giggles and is such a happy lovable baby!

dillon is on his second nap of the day and has been sleeping for 3.5 hours this round..... what do i do with this time... well i wish i was better with time management b/c i know i could have gotten alot done!! instead i did a little flower making! but made a cute little accessory! went on facebook--what a waste of time! showered--much needed! and i read for a little bit too and picked green beans in the garden!! but boy oh boy could i be getting more done! but here i am sitting writing about it! oops! oh well!

have a couple of photos to post---much more to come. but mandy took some great photos of all of the kids @ the lake this past week! dillon and i took a day and spent it @ the cabin in the family! windy but we had so much fun in the back yard away from the lake with water fights and playing!!

i just love this mr serious face!

i know i know too many photos--but believe me i have a ton more... but i will stop.

we have been busy it seems--i dont know doing what but we have been.

drews great grandmother passed away-she will be missed by all. she was such a spunky fun lovable lady and loved her great great grandson dillon a ton! of course along w/the rest of the family! everyone will miss her.

we have been enjoying our non summer mn summer! hating this cool yuckie weather

dillon is not feeling well. he has been sleeping since 5. got a call from daycare to come get him. got home around 4---brought him home cuddled and fell asleep and is still out. we might be up about 5am! as long as he feels better i am ok with that!

watercarnival in DL this week! had fun @ the chilli cook off and parade.

my parents came on saturday to stay! thanks for coming. so fun having you here!

been cleaning the house.

drew is off in millwauke for work---we are missing him a bunch!

i have been getting some scrapping done! back in the groove. and loving it.

have tons of laundry to do.

dillon now is rolling both ways-giggling a ton-sucking on his toes-such a smiler-he can sit up with a little support leaning forward-on his new medicine for reflux-weighs 18lbs 7oz.-is growing out of all of this clothes-glad i like to shop! eating baby food-loved his pears last night!

have so many projects to do. i am so good @ knwoing what i want just getting them done is the hard part!

i think i better go to sleep in case we are up in a couple of hours!
